Learn to Cross Stitch at Pond House

When

  • Sunday, January 5, 2020 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

The stitching of samplers was believed to be a sign of virtue, achievement, and industry in the 19th century, and girls were taught the art from a young age.

Now you can create your own mini-cross stitch project to take home. Experienced needleworker Andrea Sakara will demonstrate the stitch and provide all the supplies.

All ages are welcome!  House tour at 1:30 pm.

The Pond House is open year round on Sundays from 1:30 – 4 p.m. Admission to programs and tours is free for Pond Dakota Heritage Society members and youth through high school. Suggested donation of $2 for non-member adults.
