Kids Fishing Fair at Bush Lake

2023 Kids Fishing Fair at West Bush Lake Park!

The contest starts at 9 a.m. and is split into two divisions, one for ages 12 and under and one for ages 13-16. 

• Free event, open to all! 
• No fishing license required
• Registration opens at 8:30 a.m.
• Contest begins at 9 a.m. 
• Contest ends at 11 a.m. with awards to follow.
• Event takes place rain or shine.
• Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
• Kids must bring their own rod and reel.*
• Fishing demonstrations.
• Free bait and prizes!

*limited number of loaner poles available

Want to do more than just attend the Kids Fishing Fair? Sign up to volunteer and help ensure a fun event for the kids. The 2023 Fishing Fair needs adult volunteers in a variety of capacities including contest judges, bait distribution, fishing equipment set-up and more.
