Frontier Rope Making

  • Sunday, August 16, 2020 - 1:00pm to Monday, August 17, 2020 - 3:45pm

Use a simple rope-making machine to fabricate a section of rope to take home, then finish off the ends with a whip knot. Learn all about rope – a very important tool on the frontier – and how Minnesota pioneers made it themselves from plants growing in their area.

Drop in any time 1-4 p.m. to learn about this fascinating process.
