Notice of Public Hearing: To Consider Case PL2021-192 - City Code Amendment Establishing and Defining Motor Vehicle Sales, High Density

The Bloomington City Council will hold a public hearing on November 29, 2021, 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, and by electronic means as permitted by Minnesota Statutes Section 13D.021 or other applicable state law and with some council members appearing electronically as permitted by Minnesota Statutes Section 13D.021 or other applicable state law, to consider Case PL2021-192, an application by United Properties LLC for a privately initiated City Code Amendment establishing and defining "MOTOR VEHICLE SALES, HIGH DENSITY" as a land use and adding the use as a permitted use in the C-1 and C-3 zoning districts.

As permitted by state law and due to the global COVID-19 health pandemic, this public meeting will be held virtually.

To provide public comment

There are two ways to comment or testify during the public comment period of a public hearing.

1.  Phone in during the meeting.

  • Provide the operator with the item number and name listed on the agenda. You will be placed on hold and your line muted until it is your turn to comment or testify. 

2.Contacting the Council Secretary prior to the meeting.

  • Include your name, phone number and address when leaving a voicemail or email. 
  • Voicemail and emails must be received by 2 p.m. on the day of the City Council meeting.
