Creative Placemaking at MN Bat Festival

When

  • Saturday, July 14, 2018 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Come celebrate the unique role that bats play in our world at the 2nd annual Minnesota Bat Festival, presented by the MN Valley National Wildlife Refuge! Discover why bats are important to us all. Explore techniques you can use in your own backyard to help the environment, bats and other wildlife.  You will never look at bats the same way again!

City of Bloomington’s Creative Placemaking Commission and Artistry will be offering a bat-inspired make-and-take art activity during this event from 1-3 PM. Make your own paper bat or bat headband with an Artistry artist. Plus, learn more about the Creative Spark program and find out how you can plan your own creative event or project in South Loop!

This event is free and open to the public. Questions? Please call 952-854-5900 or visit the MN Valley National Wildlife Refuge website.
