May is Mental Health Awareness Month and Bloomington Public Health wants you to know help is available for people you care about—family, friends, neighbors—who have mental illness.

“Eva, a mother of two children and past Public Health client, reached out to our staff to thank them for the care they provided,” shared Molly Snuggerud from the Public Health Division. “When Eva was struggling with her first baby and severe depression, staff helped her find resources, in her own language, and set up weekly visits to help her along the way. Today, she and her family are thriving.”
