Bloomington Police Department squad cars are getting a fresh new look that reflects both tradition and pride in service.
Officers voted on the final vehicle wrap design in September 2025. The new look features a sleek black and metallic silver color scheme that blends a modern style with the classic black-and-white patrol you’ve seen on the road.
“The design reflects the professionalism and pride our officers bring to the job every day,” said Chief Booker Hodges.
Vehicles will receive the new graphics gradually as part of the department’s regular fleet maintenance cycle. So far, eight squads have been updated, with most of the fleet expected to transition by fall 2026.
