Bloomington Farmers Market
The Bloomington Farmers Market is a weekly gathering in which farmers, growers and producers sell their own products directly to the public, allowing consumers to have a direct relationship with the producer of the item they purchase. The market emphasizes quality and freshness.

At the indoor market you will find winter produce such as onions, carrots, potatoes and apples at the November market. In addition, both markets will feature pork products, cheese, chocolates, baked goods, coffee, honey, nuts, strudels, jams, dressings and salsas, decorative winter pots, spruce tips and branches as well as a variety of arts and crafts. Stock up on Farmers Market goods for the winter and get some holiday shopping done at the same time.

At the outdoor market you will find a great variety of fresh, locally grown produce as well as cut flowers, meat, cheese, honey, maple syrup, berries, fresh baked goods, jams and jellies, pickles, coffee, smoothies and unique art. There are more than 40 vendors each week at the market! The market also features music and special activities.
We love our four-legged friends, but there are no pets allowed in the market area. Service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act are allowed.
Parking at the Farmers Market
EBT/SNAP and Credit Card tokens are now accepted at the market!
Bring your EBT or Credit Card to the City information tent to purchase tokens to be used at the market. These tokens can be used to make purchases from participating vendors at stalls displaying the “We accept EBT and Credit Card” signs. You can spend tokens right away or you can save them for another day when you return to the market. There is no fee to use EBT or Credit Cards.

Information for 2016 Vendors
Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the 2016 Bloomington Farmers Market! We are always looking for unique, high- quality local products that best complement our current offerings. Most vendors return to the Farmers Market year after year so space for new vendors is very limited.
New applicants are considered based on several criteria:
- Vendors that will enhance the variety of the market.
- Past participants in good standing with the market.
- Space available.
Registration forms for the 2016 Summer Bloomington Farmers Market season will be posted in January.
2016 Vendor Registration Process & Information
All returning and new vendors must download the Farmers Market Operational Guidelines that reviews the Bloomington Market policies and includes all the necessary forms to apply to be a market vendor.
Step #1: Review the Farmers Market Operational Guidelines and fill out all forms
Step #2: Send in vendor application, and necessary forms. New vendors are required to submit a list of products. In addition, non-produce vendors maybe requested to submit food samples of their product line or for artists, photos of products when applying.
Step #3: Applications reviewed by Bloomington Farmers Market Coordinator.
Step #4: Vendors receive phone or email confirmation of approval or denial by Bloomington Farmers Market Coordinator. Payment will be due after acceptance into the Bloomington Farmers Market.
