Organics drop-off grand opening

Join Solid Waste staff as we celebrate the grand opening of our newest residential organics drop-off location! This family-friendly event is free and open to all Bloomington residents. Help launch the new drop-off with seasonal treats, compost-themed activities, a ribbon cutting and brief remarks from staff. Plus, pick up a kitchen pail and sign up to use the drop-off!

The new dumpster enclosure will feature improved design features such as an angled roof to keep out rain and snow, solar lighting, and a user door for easy access to the dumpsters. This new drop-off is constructed with the help of grant funding provided by Hennepin County.
