The Latino Legal Experience in Minnesota
The Bloomington Human Rights Commission presents the Latino Legal Experience in Minnesota. The exhibit will be on display at Bloomington Civic Plaza October 3 - 20.
The Latino Legal Experience in Minnesota is a traveling exhibition focused on the accomplishments and bright future of the Latino community. The 20 banners composing the exhibit aim to educate the public about the legal struggles of the Hispanic community.
The project built off the success of previous exhibitions that showcased the legal experience of the African American, Native American and Asian American communities in Minnesota and of women lawyers in Minnesota.
The Latino Legal Experience in Minnesota was organized by the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association, the Minnesota Chapter of teh Federal Bar Association, and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular business hours.
