Bloomington HRA Announces 2020 Home Improvement Fair

The City of Bloomington and the Bloomington Housing and Redevelopment Authority will host its 14th Home Improvement Fair on Saturday, February 22, 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., at Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road.

If you’re considering making home improvements, don’t miss this free event that features more than 60 vendors. Fairgoers will be able to visit a variety of home improvement exhibits, have questions answered by experts, get ideas for remodeling projects and attend how-to seminars. Visit blm.mn/homefair for a list of vendors and seminars. You can also stop by the HRA booth at the event and learn about low-interest home improvement loans.  

Home Depot will also host kids’ activities, keynote speaker Lisa Peck, ASID, of LiLu Interiors will present “Remodeling projects that support wellness at home” at 11:30 a.m., and Artistry will present Art in the Home Mini-Mart, featuring one-of-a-kind items for the home.

In 2018, 1,200 people attended the Home Improvement Fair; 2020 is expected to attract more.
