Terracewood Drive Sanitary Sewer Project
Construction on Terracewood Drive is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 30. The scope of the project includes replacing of an sanitary sewer line between 4601 and 4541 Terracewood Drive.
Due to the depth of the sanitary sewer, a stabilized pit will be constructed southeast of Morris Lane, the location of the pit will require the closure of a road. No detour will be posted. Work is expected to be completed the week of October 14. Weekly updates will be posted to this page.

Installation of the sanitary sewer pipe was completed the week of October 28 and was followed by storm sewer installation on Terracewood Drive and minor concrete curb and gutter work. Pavement restoration is scheduled for the early the week of November 4 and will be followed by boulevard restoration. Terracewood Drive closure was reopened late the week of October 28.

Directional drilling of the steel casing was completed late the week of October 21 and will be followed by installation of the sanitary sewer pipe early the week of October 28. Installation of storm sewer will follow completion of the sanitary sewer pipe installation.

Replacement of the sanitary sewer pipe began earlier this week and will continue through the week of October 7. Additional excavation and installation of utility structures and pipe will also continue the week of October 7.

Traffic control setup and removal of the existing pavement is scheduled to begin Monday, September 30. The removals will be followed by excavation and removal existing utilities that will be replaced with the project. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of an 8” cast iron sanitary pipe. Due to the depth of excavation Terracewood Drive south east of Morris Lane will remain closed for the duration of the sewer project, estimated to take three weeks. Access to driveways near the closure will be maintained.
