Normandale Blvd (CSAH 34) Reconstruction Project - May 15, 2014 Virtual Open House
Below are the display boards that were presented at the Normandale Blvd Reconstruction Project Neighborhood Informational Meeting on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Bloomington. The boards include a preliminary design of the entire corridor of Normandale Blvd from 94th Street to approximately Nine Mile Creek. You will notice on the preliminary design, five (5) locations, labeled 1-5 where proposed cross sections are included. These cross sections are labeled Sample Section 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4 and 5-5 in the documents below. Also, included below is an existing typical section of the corridor along with proposed typical sections options A, B and C, which include varying widths of trails and sidewalk on both sides of Normandale Blvd. In addition, existing traffic volumes along with frequently asked questions are included.
Bloomington staff is looking for input from the property owners in the area regarding the preliminary design and typical section options A, B and C. If you are having trouble viewing the preliminary design of the entire corridor, a copy will be available for viewing in the Engineering Division of the Public Works Building located at 1700 W 98th St.
