The Bloomington Convention and Visitor's Bureau presents the 23rd Annual Diamond Service Awards honoring exceptional individuals with the best in customer service in the hospitality industry of Bloomington!

Winners of the Food Safety Awards will be announced at the 23rd Annual Diamond Service Award ceremony, which celebrates the hard work of individuals in the hospitality industry in the City of Bloomington, will be presented by Mayor Gene Winsted on March 17th, 2019. City Councilmembers and other City officials will be in attendance to honor the best hotels, restaurants, and groceries of Bloomington.

The Food Safety Awards honor establishments in six categories based on results of the City’s 2018 Environmental Health Division's inspections.

Nominees in each category are interviewed and rated on food safety practices by the City’s Food Collaborative volunteers. The City’s Advisory Board of Health reviews the scored results and selected the winners for the 18th annual award’s presentation.
