Bloomington Engagement Vehicle hits the streets
The Bloomington Engagement Vehicle (BEV) rolled out to its public debut at Heritage Days this September. BEV is a repurposed 2009 vehicle from the existing City fleet. With the phrase “Hi, Neighbor” printed on it in seven languages along with a colorful, welcoming design, the vehicle is meant to catch the eye and appeal to everyone.
BEV is one of many tools available that City staff can use to connect with community members in their neighborhoods and around town. Staff will take BEV out to gather input on City projects, share information and find solutions on a variety of topics.
Follow #FindBEV on social media to track where BEV will show up next.
