The Engineering Division coordinates most infrastructure construction projects. Engineering uses online services E-Gram  and ConneX  to provide information about City projects in the preliminary planning stage, downloadable bidding documents, and project management information.

The Purchasing Section coordinates most purchases of products (commodities) and services for the City of Bloomington and its departments. When Purchasing has current requests for bids, requests for proposals or requests for information, they are posted below, along with instructions for responding.

    • Architectural/Engineering Design & Construction Administration For Dred Scott Wheel House, Request for Proposals

      The City of Bloomington (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, firms, partnerships, and corporations having specific experience in the area of design development, preparing construction plans and specifications, and construction administration services for the replacement of the Dred Scott Wheel House.

      A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site inspection will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Dred Scott Wheel House located at 10820 Bloomington Ferry Rd, Bloomington, Minnesota.
