Motor vehicle: How things work
Do you like to buy local? When you use the Motor Vehicle/Deputy Registrar Office, 9930 Logan Avenue South, filing fees remain in Bloomington and support the City’s ability to offer services at the local level.
Motor Vehicle provides a full range of services that few cities offer, including processing ID applications, license tab renewals and driver’s license renewals along with changes, duplicates and special plates—plus registration and transfer of ownership for cars, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, mopeds, boats, snowmobiles, ATVs and off-road vehicles. A notary public is also available.
“We get comments from our customers such as, ‘I really like having this in Bloomington. This is so much quicker and easier than I thought it would be,’” Motor Vehicle Supervisor Kim Griffith said.
A team of nine takes pride in providing courteous and helpful service.
