City Charter changes on tap

Last fall, residents voted to remove a section of the City Charter that regulates intoxicating liquor. The measure was approved by 77% of voters. Now alcohol is regulated by state law and city code.

As a result, the City is weighing changes to intoxicating liquor regulations. Staff provided recommendations to the City Council on proposed code amendments.
