This is the annual meeting of the City's Local Board of Appeal and Equalization.
This board provides a fair and objective forum where property owners can appeal the valuation or classification of their properties. The board meets each April to conduct its hearing.
The board consists of five members appointed by the City Council. All members shall have experience in real estate as an appraiser, realtor, real estate attorney, or property manager. Two members shall have experience in commercial, industrial or apartment valuation.
The Local Board of Appeal and Equalization’s staff liaison is Tim Bulger, City Assessor.
