On the One Music Festival

On the One Music Festival returns for its third year at Normandale Lake Bandshell! 

On the One celebrates the best in Twin Cities urban eclectic music, including R&B, Neo-Soul to Reggae, Afrobeats, Hip-Hop, and spoken word. It features some of the top artists in their craft sharing their passions with the state of Minnesota. 

Produced by The Avant Garde, this free, all ages event is hosted by Chadwick "Niles" Phillips, with Sounds By BDF as the featured DJ.

• Food vendors: Sambusa Samosa | Soul to Soul BBQ 
• Beer vendor: Northstar Tavern 

VENUE

• Seating: The Normandale Lake Bandshell features a grass hill that creates a natural amphitheater setting.
  • There is no permanent seating.
  • It is recommended that you bring a blanket or lawn chair for your comfort and convenience while enjoying the show. 
• Parking: Primary parking location is the Chalet Road Lots on the west side of Normandale Lake.
  • From there, take the short walk along the pedestrian path to the bandshell. 
  • Parking is allowed in the 84th Street Lot, but will be extremely limited. (see map below)
