Naturalist Program: Creatures of the Marsh

Join a naturalist from Nature Enthusiations to search for creatures that live in and around the pond at Smith Park. 

• Use tools like nets, cups, and field guides to search for ‘marshians’.
• Play marsh bingo.
• Discover how ponds are helpful, why marshes and other wetlands are so important, and the differences between them. 
• This is a drop-in program with multiple sessions.
• Each session can accommodate up to 12 participants at once. 
• Meet the naturalist by the dock on the south side of the park near Chicago Avenue and 83rd Street.
